Today in the News: Plastic Surgery in the 16th century

A book from 1597 decribing the earliest known plastic surgery procedures was sold at auction today for the remarkably low sum of 13.000 Euro. A plastic surgeon bidding over the telephone is the anonymous new owner – one imagines he was performing surgery at the time.
