Today in the news: Coen Moulijn is dead

Legendary Fyenoord football star Coen Moulijn died yesterday after suffering a cerebral infarction. He was 73 years old.
Moulijn was know as ‘Mister Fijenoord’, as he was so successful and influential in the club. He and the team won both the world cup and the Uefa cup, as well as 5 national titles and 2 KNVB cups. He played 38 matrches for the Dutch national team.

The last 50 (!) years of his life he had a successful mens and womens clothing retail store in (where else?) Rotterdam-Zuid:

For many years he played with the ‘ex-internationals’ the traditional new-year’s game at HFC Haarlem:

He will be missed, especially in Rotterdam.
