Today in the News: Albert Heijn is dead

Albert Heijn, grandson of the founder of the Ahold grocery-giant, died in Hereford in England yesterday. He extended the company from a number of shops to the international pwoerhouse that it is now. He proudly had the profession of ‘kruidenier’ (grocer) listed in his passport.
